The work Y Phenomenon is a collection of several sound samples collected during the stay in Yamuguchi. They include the sounds of the paper shredder, environmental sounds, and traffic noises and so on. They are treated digitally to eliminate any connection with or hint of the original sounds. The post-treatment sounds are then reconstructed to form a virtual Audio-Visual space. This series consists of eight sections.
